Monitoring, Evaluation & Stakeholder Engagement Specialist in Climate & Sustainability

Talal is a specialist in Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning, with over fourteen years of experience in humanitarian and development work in Syria, Türkiye, Yemen, Iraq, Sudan, and the MENA region. He has led research teams, created evaluation frameworks, and managed data collection and analysis for various projects. Talal's sectoral experience includes livelihoods and early recovery, protection, education, health, WASH, cash assistance, social cohesion, climate resilience and gender-sensitive programming. He brings strong field-facing MEAL experience. His work also includes donor-ready reporting, proposal writing, methodologies, workplans and learning products.​

Talal’s skills also include third-party monitoring, research design, quantitative and qualitative analysis, and donor reporting. He has with has practical experience in stakeholder engagement and accountability to affected populations. His languages are Arabic and English.

Emmanual awuOllo, CERT

Research Coordinator

Emmanuel has been  part of the team at Links Research & Evaluation since 2022, as a Research Coordinator.

A previous Red Cross volunteer and community ambassador, he supports research and analysis across a range of thematic areas, as well as management of logistics for evaluations and assessments. Languages are Swahili, English and Teso.

Elizabeth has developed a thorough knowledge base of a range of humanitarian programmes and contexts, through 18 full years of experience as a consultant and humanitarian staff member, leading research, programme impact evaluations, needs assessments, strengthening feminist MEAL processes and proposal development for humanitarian, development and resilience focused organisations and agencies. Contexts include refugees camps and vulnerable host communities in East Africa, West Africa, MENA,  Indonesia, the Phillipines & Ukraine. Within this experience is also several years of experience in full time humanitarian roles in MEAL, coordination and logistics in the Syrian Crisis, D.R. Congo & Somalia/Somaliland with Medair and the REACH Initiative. Languages are English, French & Swahilli.

Jacob has been part of the team at Links Research & Evaluation since 2022, as Logistics Assistant. ​​

He supports humanitarian evaluations and assessments, through organising and monitoring logistics and data collection, as well as providing driving services.​

 Languages are Swahili, English and Luhya.
