Elizabeth has 15 years of experience of designing, leading and managing evaluations of impact and quality, reviews, assessments, MEAL and other research. Her background also includes start up of humanitarian responses and coordination.
Elizabeth has country experience in Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania, Somalia, D.R. Congo, South Sudan, Syrian Crisis response/Jordan, Indonesia, Mauritania, the Philippines and Nepal.
She has demonstrable experience of leading globally based research teams. In addition, she has technical ability in methodology design, quantitative and qualitative data analysis, MEAL frameworks, evidence synthesis, GIS mapping, theory of change and tools for data visualisation and dash boards of indicators. She is focused on mainstreaming gender, protection and feminist approaches in methodologies. Elizabeth strives to engage project teams in research, including facilitating workshops (in person or online),
Elizabeth holds a Masters degree in International Development, BSc Environmental Science, a Post Graduate Certificate in Global Health, Diploma in Project Management and qualifications in data analysis. Languages are English, with a working knowledge of French. She is currently learning Swahilli.
Emmanuel has been part of the team at Links Research & Evaluation since 2022, as a Research Coordinator.
He supports research and analysis across a range of thematic areas, as well as management of logistics for evaluations and assessments.
Emmanuel also takes the lead in social media communications, blog posts and administration.
Emmanuel has been a volunteer at the Kenyan Red Cross Society, which included supporting people affected by disasters including flooding or fire, assisting with distributions of essential supplies. His voluntary work with the Red Cross included supporting childrens’ homes in informal settlements in Nairobi, by teaching life skills.
He has achieved a Certificate in Social Work and Development Studies, in which he focused on community development, especially health systems and social care for children. He completed a research project, for which he designed and implemented a qualitative methodology.
Emmanuel is currently the ambassador of the Kenya Institute of Professional Studies. When he graduated from secondary school, he was awarded a Certificate of Leadership from the Student Leaders Council.
He is currently completing the Diploma level for Social Work and Development Studies, on a part-time basis.
Languages are Swahili, English and Teso.
Jacob has been part of the team at Links Research & Evaluation since 2022, as Logistics Assistant.
He supports humanitarian evaluations and assessments, through organising and monitoring logistics and data collection, as well as providing driving services.
His previous experience includes
supporting logistics at international construction company, Sogea-Sato, as well as at Airtel.
Languages are Swahili, English and Luhya.
