Collaboration: we listen to our clients to ensure we understand the needs and priorities, finalising the objectives and planning details with you. We maintain clear communication, liaison and transparency with you at all stages of the research process, taking steps to enable reliable data and results. Inclusive: we meet with you, your partners, communties and other stakeholders to listen, connect and ensure their voices are included. This also ensures a high quality, safe and ethical methodology, working collaboratively with you every step of the way. We prioritise the inclusion of the most marginalised people and groups, , as well as robust qualitative and statistical data analysis and ethical data collection.
Optmising current practices, digital analysis and AI tools: we ensure that we focus on human-centric approaches. We prioritise staying actively up-to-date with modern digital tools and AI abilities, which streamline and augment our capabilities and support to you. We leverage the right software for co-designing and creating methodologies, implementation and analysing data. We ensure that we remain inclusive, collaborative, timely and highly effective.
Impactful research: we strive for excellence with credible methodologies for studies, assessments and multi-sector evaluations. We focus on both qualitative focused research and quantitative/statistical research. We tailor methods to evaluate the impact of your programs including stratified sampling, longitudinal studies and difference-in-difference studies. We triangulate data, complemented with human stories, ensuring a reliable and quality evidence base.Inclusive: we focus on civil society being at the centre of the work we carry out, through listening to different groups stakeholders at all levels, especially the most vulnerable and hard-to-reach.
Quality data and findings: we ensure quality data in research by implementing rigorous protocols across every stage. We support data collection enumerators through training and ongoing support and mentoring. Key steps in the process also include: validating data collection tools through pilot testing, standardising procedures for the team to eliminate bias, conducting rigorous data cleaning before analysis and participatory analysis and validation workshops with your teams.
Recognised international standards: we consider recognised quality standards such as OECD/DAC, Core Humanitarian Standard and Sphere Standards, as well as a focus on the operational aspect of programmes and your theory of change, logframe and indicators.
Partnerships: we add value to our work, by delivering this in partnership with our network of consultants and research partners around the globe.
Our local impact: in 2024 and 2025, Links Research Evaluation supported the following charities & causes in Kenya: Rhino Ark Charity, Dance Centre Kenya and the Remand Rescue Cente for Children, Loresho (Nairobi).
Ethical: Links Research & Evaluation has been B Corps certified since 2026. We hold several policies for staff, which are regulary updated: Code of Ethics, Equal Opportunities Employer, Anti Slavery, CSR, Social and Environmental Impact and Anti-Fraud. We ask all staff and partner consultants to complete a UNICEF hosted course on Safeguarding. We follow recognised practices for ethical & inclusive data collection.
